Elevating the Post-Acute and
Long Term Care Profession

Free PELI Webinar from ODH; January 20, 2016 2 - 3 p.m.

The Ohio Department of Medicaid has selected the Preferences for Everyday Living Inventory (PELI) as one of five Quality Indicators that will be used to determine the amount of Medicaid quality payment a nursing facility will receive.

We have scheduled a free webex webinar for providers to give some assistance in taking advantage of this opportunity to enhance the quality of care delivered.  The webinar will be held on Wed. January 20, 2016 from 2-3pm.  The presenters, Dr. Kimberly Van Haitsma and Dr. Katy Abbott will give a short overview of the PELI, review the two PELI Tip Sheets they created, and answer attendee questions.  Please send the registration link listed below to anyone you think would be interested.

Event address for attendees to register: https://miamioh.webex.com/miamioh/onstage/g.php?MTID=ef820fe4b2ba3172fd6fcff3944bb686a

Dr. Van Haitsma (who developed the PELI) and Dr. Abbott  have been working together for several years in both assisting organizations to implement the PELI and in advancing the science and practice of preference-based person-centered care.

Webex has some minimum system requirements in order to work that can be found here.
