Meeting the needs of Ohio’s Post-Acute Care and Long Term Services and Support Professionals since 1946

Certified Executive for Home Care and Hospice

A Certification for the Elite in Home Care and Hospice Management

Is CEHCH Right For You?

Ohio CEHCH is a comprehensive certification program designed to elevate the skills and professionalism of assisted living administrators in Ohio by combining national competency standards with Ohio's most comprehensive state-specific training.

While the state of Ohio does not require certification or license to be an administrator of a Home Health or Hospice agency, many states are moving to a Health Service Executive (HSE) qualification, which includes a Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) certification through the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB).
NAB Examinations have been offered across the country and are the required examination in many states for licensure. Hundreds of candidates sit for the national exam, from states requiring the HCBS as a condition of licensure and from voluntary candidates seeking to enhance their employment opportunities and showcase their dedication and knowledge of home & community-based services.

Within 30 days of completing the CEHCH training, candidates must register for the NAB Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) exam. The Ohio CEHCH will be awarded to candidates based on 100% class participation, including completing the open-book and in-class quizzes and successfully passing the NAB HCBS examination.

Obtaining the Ohio CEHCH will empower you to excel in the profession you love and enhance your distinction within Ohio's growing and competitive home care and hospice marketplaces.
